She was a determined, hardworking, loving, prayerful lady. She suffered great losses and overcame many hardships. She was always there for her family, phoning and sending birthday cards no matter where she was. She was a great cook not only at home but on the CNR Rail gangs, a seamstress, house keeper, and companion. She loved to dance, travel and organize functions. Animals were a part of her life, from her horse Buddy to her dachshund Dukie, plus numerous others. Mom was Strong in her faith, open to prayer and praying for others, very active in her church. Her determination was not easily rattled. She started a Catholic Ladies group, belonged to Women’s Aglow and was active in World Day of Prayer.
