Allan Peters

April 26, 1972 — November 23, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, son, grandfather and brother Allan Joseph Peters (Big Mac) on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 48 years.

Allan will be greatly missed by his wife Heather Smoke, daughters Violet (Matthew), Cassie (Derek) and Natasha (Kegan), his only son Allan Jr., grandchildren Cashis, Lucas, Leia, Lyndon, Riley and Kelista, brothers Terry, Shaun (Jamie), Mike (Katie) and Shastin (Lynda), sisters Stephanie (Kelly) and Sharlotte (Wesley), mother Sandra Peters and father Allen Apetagon and father-in-law Clayton Smoke. Allan also leaves behind many aunties and his uncle Edward, who he talked to almost every day, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Allan was predeceased by his stepfather Albert Nepinak, grandparents Herbie and Violet Peters, aunts Barbara, Florence and Marlene, uncle Joe and niece Julie Marie.

For many years, Allan worked for Long Plain Housing, later moving to Winnipeg where he began working with R.E.N. Demo, as well as working on many carpentry and construction projects.

Allan enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching his favorite TV shows, M*A*S*H and Three’s Company.

Private family services will be held with burial at Hillside Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Dialysis Unit, Medical Ward, Dr. Kinnear, Long Plain Chief and Council and McKenzies Funeral Chapel.
