Daniel Beardy

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our friend Daniel Beardy on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 at the age of 69 years.

Dan spent many of his early years at home in the northern community of Split Lake, before moving to MDC for several years and finally into the community in Portage la Prairie.

Dan was happiest when he would go for long car rides and enjoyed his daily trips to Tim Hortons. He also had a love of music, an appreciation for art, and spending time outdoors.

Dan touched the hearts of many in the community, and had the support of his caring and dedicated network in Brandon Support Services. He will be missed tremendously by us all.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:30 pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
