Allan Morrison Peters

December 17, 1957 - April 25, 2024

After a courageous battle with cancer, Allan Morrison Peters has entered the Spirit World on April 25, 2024, at the age of 66 years.

He leaves to mourn his mother Linda (Eric) Peters; sisters Kim Vivier, Paula Flattery, Jennifer Sinclair, Donna; aunties he called his sisters , Doreen (Al) Ouelette, Peggy Peters, Bonnie Peters, Pauline Beauchamp, and Judy Kequahtooway; his nephews - Dustin (Darla) Peters, James Vivier Jr.; nieces  Alana Peters, Chantel Vivier, Kristen Flattery, and Sarah Flattery.

Allan was predeceased by his grandparents/mom and dad Laura and Harvey Peters; auntie/sister Donna Peters; uncles/brothers Harry Peters, Mervin Peters, and Harvey (Caboose) Peters Jr.

Allan was a self-taught mechanic who loved helping everyone. He enjoyed visiting with people and talking about traditional teachings. He loved to be busy and work with his hands; this led him to working on his CN Rail. He worked on CN Rail alongside his brothers. Allan formed his own flooring business. Through this business, he worked everywhere - at home, Portage, Winnipeg, and several other provinces.   After becoming sick, He especially enjoyed sitting in his recliner eating ice cream and watching the birds.   We like to say Allan became an ice cream connoisseur.

My Brother will always be loved, greatly missed, and never forgotten.

Wake will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, beginning at 4:00 pm at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Feast and ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, beginning at 12:00 pm at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge.   Burial to follow at the Long Plain Cemetery.
