Barry Thomas Chrisp

With sadness we announce the passing of Barry Chrisp on Monday, February 9, 2026 at the Portage District General Hospital, at the age of 77 years, with his family by his side after a short battle with cancer.

Barry was predeceased by his parents Les and Bonnie Chrisp.

Left to mourn his passing are his lifelong partner Beverley Chrisp; his daughter Kimberly Pond; his grandchildren Kyla, Kaiden Pond and Alex Williams; his brothers, Shane, Terry and Lee Chrisp; his special friends Ed and Art as well as many extended family members including Barb and Al Wsiaki (Carla and Chad) and Ken and Tammy Pond (Laura and Brad).

Barry was born in Virden, Manitoba on December 29, 1948. He will be remembered for the many memories he shared with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place and the family will have a private gathering at a later date.
