Beatrice Catcheway

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Beatrice Catcheway on Monday, October 03, 2022 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 68 years.

Beatrice was born July 15th, 1954 in Winnipegosis to the late Elizabeth and Dolphus Catcheway.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Jeff (Melissa), Sandra (Dave), and son Peter; grandchildren Ricky (Marcy), Brendon (Jessica), Taylar (Evan), Whitney, Tyson, and Teaghan. Koko B also leaves her legacy with her great-grandchildren Dominic, Harmony, Evarett and Scout.

She is survived by her sister Lena (Gary), Wilfred (Bernice), Margaret (Lawrence), Garry (Joyce), Harold (Lucille), Judy (Harry), and baby brother Warren. She was predeceased by her brothers Douglas and Ronnie.

Beatrice will also be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her beautiful church family at Gilbert Catcheway Ministries. Pastor Frances Roulette, Virginia, Donna, Lena, Garry, Joyce, Maxine and many others.

Beatrice is predeceased by her loving husband Gordon Catcheway in 2019.

Wake service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Portage Evangelical Church from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Portage Evangelical Church. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 4:00 pm and back to the church for lunch.
