Carol May Jones (nee Hudson)

Peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026, at home Carol passed away at the age of 74 years. The family is deeply saddened by the loss.

Carol is survived and missed by her husband of 54 years, Glen; daughter Shannon (Perry), Tara (Chris); grandchildren Madison (Steven), Cidnee, Réal (Katie); great grandsons Riley and Owen; her special niece Annie, along with many nieces and nephews. Carol came from a large family and was the youngest.

Carol grew up in in Winnipeg in the Fort Rouge area. In 1972 Carol met Glen. They were married September 12, 1981. Mom loved her family and proudly talked about us all. Mom “adopted” many extra kids through her years and loved every one of them.

Mom’s pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandsons; they could do no wrong in gma’s eyes. Mom loved to crochet, paint and many other crafts, usually roping dad into creating her ideas. Mom loved to travel, especially to Maui. Mom lit up when she knew we were all coming to visit. She loved spending time at the lake with Tara and the grandkids when they were little, going to garage sales and finding treasures.

Carol’s legacy will live on through all of us, mom loved hard.

To honour mom’s wishes will be celebrating Carol’s life privately.
