We regret to announce the passing of Clarence Morisseau on December 8, 2020 at Portage District General Hospital at the age of 64 years.
Left to cherish his memory are siblings Mark (Ann) Morisseau, Verna Ball, Cliff (Theresa) Morisseau, Gary (Helga) Morisseau, Margie (Harry) Baldwin, Rosella Scott and sister-in-law Gibi Morisseau as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and his friends at Kin Glen Group Home.
Clarence was predeceased by his parents Mark and Annie (nee Dumas) Morisseau, siblings Georgette (Allen) Hamilton, Louis (Diane) Morisseau, Stan Morisseau and brother-in-law Bob Scott.
Clarence was born January 22, 1956 at Portage General Hospital. He enjoyed many years working at ARC Industries. Thank you to Tara, the staff and his co-working friends for giving him a meaning to life to adapt to working skills.
Clarence was loved so dearly by so many. He loved us all unconditionally with an open heart and a big smile. He loved to be teased, and he made us all laugh. He had an infectious, contagious and extremely warm heart. He loved to remind us “My name is Clarence Albert.” He also had an immense passion for music. He was happiest when brothers Gary, Cliff and Stan and his nephew Mark played. He showed us a step or two. Oh how we’ll miss our sweet Clarence.
A private family interment will take place at Haywood Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank Kin Glen group home, Dr. Kinnear and staff for the compassion and care they gave Clarence.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clarence’s memory to the Kin Glen Home, 104 3rd St NW, Portage La Prairie, MB R1N 2C2.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
