On March 19th with her family by her side, Crystal Carpenter was released from her pain and suffering at the age of 57 years.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Leo Carpenter; children Daniel Carpenter, Danielle Carpenter (Chris) and Darielle and grandson Darius; sisters Jo-Ann (Gilbert) Szucki, Suszan Suderman and Cindy (Doug) Fagnan; nieces Nici (Darcy) Turko, Dina Szucki, Ashley Suderman (Reinhold), Tashina Fagnan, Keisha (Evan) Panchyshyn; along with, great nieces and nephews; father Walter Hickman (Elaine) and Mother-in-law Trevona Bedford.

Crystal will now be reunited with her loved ones; maternal grandmother Ethel Barrault (Nan); mother Connie Hickman; grandparents-in-law; Fathers-in-law Terry Carpenter and Thomas Bedford; brother-in-law Carl Suderman; nephew Davyd Suderman and great niece Sammy Turko.

Crystal loved spending time with her family and friends whether it be floating in her pool, camping, traveling, casinos or spending “quality” time with her sisters on Saturday afternoon.

As per Crystals wishes there will be no viewing. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 24 2017 at 1:30pm at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. A reception will be held following the interment at the Army & Navy Hall.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kit Hunter and Dr. Russell Price and the staff in the ICU of the St. Boniface Hospital for the amazing care given to Crystal during her illness.
