Daltondaniel Trumbla (Longclaws)

This is my story.

My parents are Melissa Longclaws and Daniel Trumbla.

I was born with a medical condition called PMG.  I first started showing symptoms at the age of three months old.  The doctors tried me on so many types of medications and treatments.

My parents adjusted their lives for me to be a strong, caring loving little boy. I’m thankful my siblings never endured or went through what I have been living with for 9 years of my little life.  I have fought hard to stay and live a long happy life with my family.

My birthday is December 13, 2013, I started my walk on the journey to the spirit world on November 30, 2022.  I went peacefully in my sleep beside my mother.

Dalton will be forever loved and sadly missed by his parents Melissa Longclaws and Daniel Trumbla, his brothers and sisters Mayalisa, Mileyann, Dawnmarie, Dawsondaniel, Makayamissa and Danicaeliza, grandparents Melvin Longclaws and Bernadette Myran, Donna Smoke and William Trumbla, great-grandparents Leslie and Elaine Smoke and Gail Trumbla, as well as many aunties, uncles cousins and extended family members.

Dalton was predeceased by his great-grandparents Christine Myran, Robert Blackbird, Eliza Longclaws, Clifford Chaske and Harry Trumbla.

Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Saturday, December 3, 2022 beginning at 4:00 pm.  Feast and Ceremony will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Sunday, December 4, 2022 beginning at noon followed by burial at Longclaws Prince Cemetery.
