Edna Dorathy Rintoul (nee Dietrich)

Peacefully on January 5, 2024, Edna Rintoul passed away at home with family by her side after a lengthy illness at the age of 89 years.

Edna was predeceased by her husband Melvin Rintoul, son Barry Lylyk and granddaughter Lindsey Morris.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Connie (Terry) Morris and Colleen (Pat) Paquin, daughter-in-law Debbie Lylyk and their families.  She will also be missed by her sister Joyce Wagner, Melvin Rintoul’s family, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held in the summer.

The family would like to thank everyone involved in helping us to care for Edna at home and a very special thank you to Dr. Nelson for his compassion in helping us through Mom’s final days.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Edna’s memory to the Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
