Gerda Wilson
July 3, 1940 — March 30, 2020
Peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020, Gerda Wilson passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 79 years.
Gerda was predeceased by her husband Bill Wilson. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: son Tom Wilson, son Charlie (Cheryl) Wilson, daughter Gail (Darryl) Boyko and son Jeff Wilson; grandchildren: Brandon, Lee and Adam Wilson, Kayla and Sheldon Boyko; sister Krista (Richard) Casey; extended family and friends.
A private family graveside service will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at a later date.
The family would like to thank all of the staff from Parkside at Lions Prairie Manor for their care and compassion.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Gerda’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 2 – 218 Saskatchewan Ave. E. Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0K9 or Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8.
