Peacefully, on May 27, 2017, Helen Prince passed away in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 60 years.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her husband Doug, son Melvin (Lacey), daughters Wendy, Michelle, Crystal (Mitch) and Faye (Brent), 26 grandchildren, special niece Margaret, brothers Fred and Russell, and sisters Edith (Joe), Bella, Nancy, Sheila and Audrey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Helen was predeceased by her parents Stanley & Margaret, father-in-law Rufus, mother-in-law Doreen, brother Gordon, sisters Betsy and Joyce, brothers-in-law Steve, Dennis and Etienne, sister-in-law Jean, nephews Marshall and Kirt, and nieces Sylvia and Tanya.
Traditional wake will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 beginning at 4:00 pm at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge. Traditional feast and service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge followed by the interment at Prince-Longclaws Cemetery.
