Isabel Giroux

Isabel Giroux passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 90 years.

She spent the majority of her life in Portage la Prairie where she married her husband Paul Giroux.  Isabel was a devoted mother to her children and a very loving grandmother to her grandchildren.  She will be remembered for the joy she brought to everyone around her, her witty sense of humour, her honesty and the beauty of her soul.

Isabel is predeceased by her parents Hugh McEachern and Marguerite McEachern (Lavallee), infant twins Marie and Joseph Giroux; husband Paul Giroux; brother Alex McEachern; sister-in-law Audrey McEachern; brother-in-law Denis Henrie; brother Ron and sister-in-law Evelyn McEachern.

She is survived by her daughter Paulette with granddaughter Barbette; daughter Brenda; daughter Donna (Robert) with grandchildren Ryan and Alexandra; son David (Cindy)with grandchildren Dana, Kaeleigh and Joshua; daughter Sheila (Dallas) with grandchildren Jessie, Dillion, Maverick and Austin; daughter Della (Derrick) with grandchildren Karissa, Kierra and Kenzie, along with great grandchildren Dravius, Miyah and Tristan.  She is also survived by her sister May Henrie.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Lions Prairie Manor for their care and compassion.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
