James Howie
January 3, 1950 — July 12, 2020
Peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2020, James Howie passed at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 70 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Keith and Isabel Howie. Left to mourn his passing are his uncles Ken Sylvester, Gerald (Maureen) Sylvester, Don (Helen) Sylvester and Henry (Marg) Sylvester, numerous extended family and friends.
As per James’ wishes a private family burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in James’ memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 301 – 1 Wesley Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4C6.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
