Jill was born in Steinbach Manitoba, Jill loved when family visited and loved talking on the phone with family. Jill was very close to her sisters and favorite cousin who she called “siscousin Joan”. Jill has 2 children Matthew and Dayna, 4 grandchildren Brayden, Keyoura, Alysha, and Jasper and 3 great grandchildren Zane, Dawnlee, and Anya, who she loved very much and had special bonds with each.

She loved playing baseball and spent her younger and adulthood playing the sport. Jill loved Elvis Presley and was a huge fan. Jill made a lot of friends during her life, she was lovable, likeable, kind, and caring.

Jill moved from Regina Saskatchewan to Portage la Prairie, MB in 1989 with her husband John and their two children and opened J&J Bolts and Tools where she spent most of her years working there. She moved to Slave Lake Alberta to be closer to her sisters and spent some time working at Sobey’s Deli where she gained friends. She was very smart and was not easy to beat in trivia nights that she played with her friends. Jill loved everyone and everyone loved her; she will be greatly missed by all that she knew.
