Joseph Flamand

We regret to announce the passing of Joseph Flamand on June 26, 2019 at Portage District General Hospital at the age of 52 years.

Left to cherish Joe’s memory are his sons Steven Flamand and Henry Wieler of St. Ambroise, MB;  mother Beatrice Flamand of Portage la Prairie, MB; brothers Tommy Flamand of Portage la Prairie and Brian (Heather) Flamand of St. Ambroise, MB;  and sister Peggy Flamand of Portage la Prairie, MB as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was predeceased by his beloved partner Yolande Thomas; father Edward Flamand and sister Wanda Parent.

Joe was an extremely hard worker, spending 35 years working as a roofer, and he loved farming with both his father and his brother Tommy. Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing, and cherished his son and the time they spent together.

Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the St. Ambroise Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 am with interment to follow in the St. Ambroise Cemetery.
