Joyce McIvor

It is with profound sadness that the family of Joyce Mclvor announces her peaceful passing at the Portage District General Hospital on July 15, 2026 at 84 years of age.

She was predeceased by her parents Douglas(1987) and Grace Mclvor(1994); siblings, sister Loretta Sandberg(2011), brother Kelly(2014), brother Keith(2020) and sister Marlene Kowall (2024). She was also predeceased by brothers-in-law Denzel Sandberg(2008) and Orest Kowall(2024) and sister-in-law Dorothy Mclvor (2025). She is fondly remembered by brothers Bud (Sheila), John (Shannon), sister-in-law Joan Mclvor, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A service in honour of Joyce Mclvor will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Portage la Prairie on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 am, with viewing prior to the service. A private family burial will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
