Kelly Bates

We regret to announce the passing of Kelly Bates at his home in Portage la Prairie, MB at the age of 63 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: son Jamie, daughter Faith (Alston) and daughter Sadie (Trey), father Bill Bates, siblings Kim (John) Vrooman, Gayle Bates and Val Bates (Chris Simon), special friend Carol Huzyk; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Kelly was predeceased by his mother Beatrice Bates.

Cremation has taken place, a private family interment will be held in Evergreen Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kelly’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1379 Kenaston Boulevard Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5.
