Lois was predeceased by her grandparents Naomi and Tom Myran, parents George and Enna (nee Myerion) Prince, brothers Gerald, Garry, Alfred and Gilbert and sister Marlene.

Lois was born and raised in Long Plain First Nation, and was a residential school survivor. Lois was an excellent cook, and she always made sure her family and friends were well fed and taken care of. She welcomed everyone into her home. We will always remember her Sunday dinners. Her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy. She was a traditional Anishinaabe qwe, and was a jingle dress dancer. Lois was very proud of her career as a Commissionaire in Winnipeg, MB, and was also the first female bouncer at the St. Regis Hotel. Lois spoke often about her many life stories.

Lois spent her final years in Onagaming First Nation, ON, surrounded by her loved ones. Lois will always be remembered for her slack jokes and her big heart. She will be deeply missed, forever in our hearts, and never forgotten.
