With sadness we announce the passing of Marie Cyr on December 3, 2025 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 41 years,
Left to mourn her passing are her husband Kevin St. Goddard, children Damien St. Goddard, Kasie St. Goddard, Ashante St. Goddard, Trinity St. Goddard and Cassidy St. Goddard, step-daughter Tishara St. Goddard and step-son Chance St. Goddard, grandchildren Skyler St. Goddard, Joseph St. Goddard and Jasper Monkman, parents Sandra and William Ward, birth father John Margison, father-in-law Ernie St. Goddard, siblings Chris (Brooke) Everett, Merle (April) Cyr, Marsha Cyr, Susie (Beauford) Cummer and Sheena Schreiner; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Kevin Jr. St. Goddard and mother-in-law Mary St. Goddard.
Marie was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on June 3rd, 1984, she moved to Portage la Prairie, Manitoba in the summer of 1991 at 7 years old. The family, friends and joy flourished from that point on. Marie was so strong and smart with her schooling and was a saint for making friends over the years (that she loved dearly). Throughout her life we had the honor of walking with her through ups and downs. Marie was an extremely strong and independent women, that made an incredible life for herself. She was always the proudest of her beautiful family that she created and always gave all of her time to her children. Whether it be volunteering at church functions or school field trips or even helped her little community with their resource center activities. She never really made time for herself. It didn’t matter if she had no money or food in her house, she always managed to make every holiday the best to remember. Every holiday was a blessing with her whether it be Thanksgiving or Christmas or Halloween or even ones she made up on her own. Marie's biggest dream was to go back to school and complete her grade 12 and enroll in business and accounting or nursing because she was doctor mom in her community. We could go on, but with extremely heavy hearts we say farewell to an amazing women, friend, mother, daughter and dearly loving sister. Until we meet again, rest easy.
