The family is devastated to announce the sudden passing of Penny Parynuik on March 3, 2026 at the age of 62.

Penny grew up on the family farm in the Beaver/Katrime district and went to school in MacGregor. After her parents passing Penny and Bud returned to make their home on the family farm. As a young girl Penny was involved with 4H, and played ringette. Penny worked many jobs, before joining Southern Health in various roles. Most recently she returned to the Portage District General Hospital, where she was reacquainted with old friends. She was looking forward to working at the new hospital. Penny had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off her back.

Penny leaves behind her brother Dan (Roanna) Parynuik, niece Morgan and nephew Carter Parynuik, and bonus sister-in-law, Lori Morissette. She will also be lovingly remembered by her stepchildren, Bonnie (Patrick) and Mathew (Megan), step-grandchildren, Reed and Jaxson and her beloved furbabies Smokey and Bandit.

Also left to mourn are her Aunt Polly Weday and several cousins from both sides of the family. Penny will be fondly remembered by her extended in-laws from the Bieganski family: Mary Anne Gates, Wally (Rosalie) Bieganski, Judy (Jack) Bieganski, Debbie Bieganski, Dean (Shirley) Bieganski, and Cyndi (Lennie) Wallace, along with countless friends.

Penny was predeceased by her parents Mike and Minnie Parynuik, life partner Bud Bieganski, niece Kaylee Joy, brother-in-law Doug Pennell, sister-in-law Betty Pennell and brother-in-law Raymond Gates.

The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and shared loss. It shows the way she affected all those around her. The world will not be the same without her laughter in it.
