Randall "Brent" Bailey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Randall Bailey known to all as Brent. Peacefully on the morning of April 6, 2026 at Lions Prairie Manor he left us for his eternal rest at the age of 74 years.

Brent was born on March 27, 1952 in Portage la Prairie to Ed and Gwen Bailey. He leaves to mourn his wife of 37 years Yvonne (nee Poirier), daughter Laura (Jordan) Unger, two grandchildren Athena and Alistair, brother Darryl Bailey, and extended family and friends.

After many years exploring the world in his semi, Brent spent the remaining years working with his hands at Kitsons and McCains. When not busy working, he spent hours at the pool, coaching and cheering his daughter’s swim team.

Great thanks to the wonderful staff of Lions Prairie Manor, who helped make his last years enjoyable.

A graveside service will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm, followed by a come and go luncheon in the Trimble Room at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.

As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Brent’s memory to the The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
