Robert Keith Sangster

Robert "Bob" Sangster, 84, of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Portage Hospital on October 31, 2025.

Robert was born to Andrew and Lydia Sangster on April 18, 1941, in Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Gail; son David (Robin), daughters Karen (Rob) and Jennifer (Nelson); his beautiful granddaughters Sydni, Kenydi, Hannah and Kaitlyn were a sense of pride and great joy for him. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Bunny “where’s Bob”; cousins Terry (Kimo), Vicki (Glenn) and many other family members.

He was a brilliant man; his knowledge and insight will be greatly missed. He was deeply loved by his family and will be lovingly remembered and cherished.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Portage Hospital.

In accordance with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob’s memory to Winnserv 101-90 Garry Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4H1.
