Shoughn Rheagan Perswain

With great sadness that we announce the passing of Shoughn “Junior” Perswain on December 1, 2025 at the age of 24 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his three boys Travaughn Perswain, Xavier Shorting and Trey Shorting, his father Shaun Meeches, mother Kerrie Perswain, siblings Shonasea-Ocean Perswain, Shaundre Meeches, Isaiah Meeches, Kayden Meeches, William Myran, Sienna Smoke and Isabelle Smoke, loving “auntie” Shayn Meeches, loving aunts Shannon Meeches and Sheyenne Meeches, uncles Stanley Houle, Sage J. Meeches and Sacha-Paul “Billy the Kid” Meeches; along with numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved grand-parents William and Betty Ann Meeches, dear sister Shontaya Perswain, baby London Sky, uncle Sonny Perswain, cousins Blais Meeches and Braison Meeches.

Viewing and visitation will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A private service and burial will take place at a later date.
