Terry Myran

With sadness we announce that Terry Myran began his journey to the spirit world on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the age of 68 years.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Darlene; daughter Lisa with grandchildren Terri-Lynne (Stephen) and Jocelyn and great grandchildren Sawyer and Vincent; son Terry Jr. (Samantha) with grandchildren Sierra (Jordan), Kaylin, Tyler and Autumn and great grandson Allistair; son Wesley (Evelyn) with grandchildren Cassie, Dakota, Joel, Selena, Dwayne and Jessica; son Nathan (Nadine) with grandchildren Nathan Jr and Noah; godchildren Harmony, Ally, Raina and Brodie; siblings Margaret, Gloria, Ralph (Veronica), Patsy, Edward, Doug, Darrel (Tracey) and Cynthia; and beloved pets Prince, Beggins and Franklin, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Terry was predeceased by his father George, mother Daisy, siblings Donald, Johnny, Glen, Valerie, Joyce and Tim and grandsons William and Donald.

Terry was a very hard-working man all his life, mostly in construction and masonry.  He was a master mason who had his own business and thrived on teaching others the trade.

He had a great love for all his family and great sense of humour.  He loved being able to help however he could.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travelling, tinkering with vehicles and cruising around in his golf cart. Other great enjoyments of his were spending time with family having dinners, BBQ’s, birthday parties, etc.

Pallbearers will be David Myran, Dakota Lake, Wesley Lake, Ralph Myran Jr., Nathan Walters and Darryl Myran. Honourary Pallbearers are Terry’s friend of 50+ years - Tim Carmichael, the Ellwood-McRorie crew and all of his family and friends.

Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Friday, September 9, 2022 beginning at 4:00 pm.  Feast and Ceremony will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Saturday, September 10, 2022 beginning at noon. Burial will follow at Myran Woods Cemetery.

A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel.  www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
