It is with broken hearts Kelly Roulette and Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun (Maream) announce the passing of their beloved daughter Teyah. She will be forever missed and loved by her sisters Lauraleigh, Philaina, Sharilyn, Marion, Alicia, and little sister Sarena, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, Nips the cat and Small Dog.
Predeceased by her grandmother Patricia Teichert (nee Daniels) and grandfather Robert Roulette, and paternal grandparents Evelyn & Benjamin Paul.
Teyah was born in her Coast Salish Territory of Vancouver. Teyah had a close loving relationship with her Grandma Patricia whom we believe immediately embraced Teyah to take her home with our relatives.
Teyah was a strong-willed young woman with a dynamic personality. She was joyful, courageous, breathtaking, loving, honest and sassy. Teyah loved all types of music, and was an artist. She showed her artwork alongside her famous father but was a star in her own right. Teyah’s radiant dark eyes, raven hair, impish smile captured everyone’s heart. People stared at her wherever she went, which spoke to her natural beauty. She loved dressing up, and was often seen with her Gucci purse, designer clothes, and Balenciaga socks. Raieli and Josh were Teyah's best friends. Raieli was a kindred spirit and their amazing connection will never be forgotten. Josh will always remain Teyah’s special friend.
Her final resting place will be in her Ojibwe homeland on the Long Plain First Nation beside her Grandmother.
Until we meet again, Teyah. We will love you forever.
Pallbearers will be Adam Daniels, Sage Daniels, Catlin Daniels, Eddy Daniels, Harry Drury-Daniels, Joe Peters, Cyle Daniels and Tim Daniels. The family considers all the friends as honorary Pallbearers.
West Coast Pallbearers were Glenn Alteen, Michael Turner, Corey Bulpitt, Harry Daniels, Bracken Hanuse Corlett, Clyde Roulette and McKinley Roulette
