On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Valerie Smoke entered the Spirit World at the age of 59 yeas.
A Wake will take place on Friday, May 24, 2018 at the Dakota Plains School Gym beginning at 5:00 pm. A traditional feast and service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Dakota Plains School Gym beginning at noon. Interment will follow at the Dakota Plains Cemetery.
