Vernon "Blake" Williams

August 1, 1953 — August 24, 2018

Blake’s Life journey began August 1st, 1953 in Portage la Prairie and his Heavenly journey was made August 24th, 2018.

Bud, my heart is broken and the ache is tremendous, but it gives me, our son and “daughter” Raegan comfort to have been with you ‘til the end.

Life is not fair sometimes – after his super courageous battle, “My Bud” and Adam’s “Bean” left us way too soon. Now we reflect on our countless special times and memories to prevail over the times of anger and sadness. Our enormous amount of love and devotion was felt by him and we know he felt it too.

Blake will be waiting in Heaven for me to join him, but until then he will be sharing Heaven with his parents Bunny and Evelyn, sister Darlene and brother Vaughn. He will also be welcomed by his favorite mother-in-law Jean Kissock. Anyone who knew Blake, also knows he’ll catch up on that dusty trail with his pal John Wayne.

Left with painful hearts on Earth are his sister Patty, sister Sandra, brother Scott, father-in-law Jack Kissock, and so many countless in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, co-workers and friends.

Fly High Bud – you took My Love with you. I will always treasure our life together – you made it wonderful.

TO KNOW HIM … WAS TO LOVE HIM

A cluster of beautiful memories

Sprayed with a billion tears.

Wishing “The Big Guy” had spared you,

But for many more years.

Thanks for the treasured years you gave us

And for the countless times we shared.

We know that when you left us

You took our love along.

Our Cowboy Rides Away ….
