Wanda Joanne Merrick
With family at her side, Wanda Merrick passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Portage District General Hospital age of 41 years.
She was predeceased by her son Alex, parents Mervin and Merle, brother Raymond, paternal grandparents Angus and Flora and maternal grandparents Raymond and Victoria Smoke.
Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her five children Kimberly, Kelly, Logan, Kate and Fiona; brothers Randy (Rhonda) and Robert; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Wake will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at 4:00 pm. Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Long Plain Spirit Lodge beginning at 12 noon led by Chief Dennis Meeches. Interment will follow at Dauphin/Myerion Cemetery.
