Sandra Dirks

It is with profound sadness that the family of Sandra Marie Dirks announces her sudden passing on August 25, 2021 at the age of 43 years.

She is survived by her parents William and Mary Dirks; two brothers Larry and Ronnie (Elizabeth).  Sandy loved her nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, cousin and friends, and special friend Wendy Chiponski.  Sandy’s passing has left a huge hole in each of our hearts.  Sandy is predeceased by 4 grandparents, 3 aunts and 2 uncles.

Born on May 16, 1978 in Carman, MB, Sandy joined the Dirks family a 6 ½  lb. feisty and determined little girl who gladly took on the role of growing up with her two older brothers 12 + 14 years older than her.  She had a caring and thoughtful nature that showed up in her health care work and the many stories from behind the scenes.

Words cannot express how much we will miss Sandra.

A Funeral Service will be held at River Road Gospel Hall at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 with interment to follow at Winghamm Cemetery.  The funeral service was recorded and available for viewing at the bottom of this page.
